Kindergarten - Students will recognize the four tones and signs, stroke order, recognize basic numbers and common words (up to 100 words) in a fun way.

幼兒園 - 幼兒園班課程依自然動態學習方式讓學童去體會理解生活上的基本會話和單詞，做為發音班進階的準備。由經驗老師教學配合標準課本及補充教材。

Pronunciation - Students will learn basic phonetic symbols and Hanyu pinyin on the basis of children songs from kindergarten plus gain an understanding of basic conversation in class. Students will be ready for elementary level entrance upon completion.

發音班 - 發音班採用雙軌教學。學生在活用會話的基礎上 學習漢語拼音或注音符號以增進漢語的發音標準，是中文初級班進階的準備過程。

Grade 1 through 6 (elementary level) - This program is designed for students to learn enough practical Mandarin words for communication purposes. Textbooks, software CD, calligraphy practice, and quizzes will be included for all levels. 

初級班 (1年級至6年級) - 初級班一至六年級是中文基礎階段，學生以聽、說、唱的方式達到讀寫的目的，配合軟件
​，書法，測式題庫以增進對實用漢字的認識。成功完成基礎階段的學習是中級班課程進階的必要條件。

Grades 7 and 8 (junior high school level) - This program is designed for students who have already completed elementary or equivalent levels. Advanced words, phrases, and calligraphy practice will be provided.

中級班 (7年級和8年級) - 中級班七及八年級同學必須先完成初級班進階的課程之後再做深一層的學習。本課程主要是增加教材的層面，以求積極増進同學的聽、說、讀、寫的實用能力。

Grade 9 (Special subjects) - This program is designed for students who have completed grade 8 and who are ready for more specific study in various subjects in Chinese culture, history, and geography. 

特別專修班 (9年級) - 九年級專修課程主要目標是重點介紹和提高對中國、臺灣及香港地區的地理、中國古代歷史和文化的了解，增進中文實用會話程度的內涵和深度。

Note: The Chinese School has a long history in Edmonton, with many senior teachers. The language classes are taught in conjunction with standard text books and supplementary materials.
